Using Miniml Around Pets  🐶🐱

Many of our customers share their homes with dogs, cats and other animals, so we’re often asked how our products fit into a pet household. Here’s what’s in them, and how to use them sensibly around your pets.

What goes into our products

We formulate every product in-house in Yorkshire, using choosing natural origin ingredients where able to. Our range is made without chlorine bleach or ammonia. You’ll find full ingredient lists on every label and product page, so you can check exactly what you’re using.

Floors and surfaces: Keep pets out of the room while you clean, and let surfaces dry fully before they walk or lie on them. Wipe up drips and spills straight away.

Food and water bowls: Our Washing-Up Liquid works well on pet bowls. Rinse them thoroughly with clean water and let them dry before refilling.

Bedding, blankets and toys: Wash with our Laundry Liquid at the dose on the label and let the full rinse cycle finish. Make sure everything is completely dry before giving it back.

Fresh air: Open a window while you clean. This matters most if you have birds or small animals, which can be sensitive to airborne scents. Cats can also be sensitive to some fragrance ingredients, so let rooms air before they settle back in.

Storage: Keep bottles and refills closed, upright and out of reach. Pets will investigate anything left at floor level.

If your pet swallows a product

Contact your vet straight away and have the bottle to hand so they can see the ingredients. Don’t try to make your pet sick unless your vet tells you to. You can also contact the Animal PoisonLine for advice.

Pets with sensitivities

If your pet has allergies or a health condition, speak to your vet before switching any household products. And if you have a question about a specific product, email us at [email protected]. We make everything ourselves, so we’re happy to help.
